What private means here
Midnight Sun runs private day tours from Reykjavík. Not "small group", not "semi-private" — your party alone, with a licensed Icelandic guide-driver who leaves when you say, stops when you say and stays as long as you like. The price is per group of up to eight, VAT included, entrances included, hotel pickup included.
We are small, new and licensed (Ferðamálastofa 2026-097), and we run one route properly before adding more. That route is the Golden Circle.

Questions
A licensed guide-driver and vehicle for your group only, hotel pickup and drop-off in the capital area, all entrances and parking on the route, fuel and VAT. Food, admission at optional add-on stops and pickup outside the capital area are the only extras, and they're priced before you pay.

Yes — Midnight Sun (Mangofit ehf.) holds Ferðamálastofa day tour provider licence 2026-097 under the Act on the Icelandic Tourist Board no. 96/2018, and our vehicles are licensed and insured for commercial passenger transport. You can check the public register linked in our footer.
154,900 kr for a private group of 1–4 and 184,900 kr for 5–8, VAT included — per group, not per person. For a family of four that's about 38,725 kr each; for eight, about 23,112 kr each, which is close to a small-group minibus seat but with your own guide, your own timing and nobody else on board. Entrances, parking and Reykjavík hotel pickup are included; the only extras are optional add-on stops with admission fees, Keflavík pickup (25,000 kr) and extra hours (15,000 kr each).
Whenever suits you — that's the point of a private tour. Early departures beat the coach crowds to every stop; in summer, evening departures get the midnight-sun light and even emptier viewpoints. Tell us your plans and we'll recommend a time for your dates.

English (Icelandic, and other languages on request). Every guide is a licensed local who drives, guides and takes the photos — one person for the whole day, so you're not handed between a driver and a guide.
Any hotel, guesthouse or address in Reykjavík. Pickup in Hafnarfjörður, Garðabær and Kópavogur is included; Keflavík is 25,000 kr; Selfoss or Hveragerði on request.
